I’m Andrew, a novice ham radio operator based in Kansas.
I’m based in Salina, KS but mainly operate my radio in different portable environments. I don’t have a proper “shack” to share, but I primarily operate a G90 with a basic whip antenna.
Salina is located in central KS at the intersection of I-70 and I-135. We’re located along the Smoky Hill river, and in the rolling hills of Kansas near the Flint Hills. It’s the county seat for Saline County, and has a population of around 50,000 people.
I run a few scanner and data collection feeds intended for use by others and the public. I strive to keep them online 24x7x365 and operate them with backup power and redundant infrastructure.
I operate a feeder for sites such as FlightAware, FlightRadar24, ADS-B Exchange, Airplanes.live and more.
I stream scanner feeds of the local trunked radio system to Broadcastify and OpenMHz.
